Trek Canada is a hiking group that is based on the majestic Lake Alta, British Columbia.

We're a group of people of mixed ages who love the outdoor life and like to explore our local region.

Our tours are taken at a leisurely pace and there is no need to be extremely fit to join us.

On occasion, we'll plan a more strenous route but always provide an easier option for those who prefer.

Our tours are always in BC and have included...

walks down the quiet trails of the Whistler Valley  Riverbank walk

a riverside ramble and barbeque along the Cheakamus River

trekking 1000 feet to the peak of Whistler Mountain to enjoy the glacier and mountain views

and a tour and picnic at Alta Lake. 

Trek Canada meets once a month on the 2nd Saturday or weekend of the month.  Occasionally we plan additional trips, especially during the summer months.
